Celebrate Love Wrap Up

Thanks to the six new people that took my Celebrate Love class.  I hope you had a great time.  I know I did.  I'm finally posting the rest of the photos of my sample, please see earlier posts for the rest of the pages.  I'm having trouble posting them all together in a group because of my Rebel's high resolution.  I'm going to start an online gallery in the next week or so to post pictures.  If anyone has a gallery they like please post a response for me here!

Make sure to mark your calendar for my next class on February 24th.  It will be a two hour mini album called "Today"
The assignment is to take 8-10 pictures in one day documenting your everyday life.  We'll make a cute mixed up mini with spring colored paint and cardstock.  It will be a quick and easy one.  Also stay tuned for even more classes at Scrapadoodle.  We'll be doing some Donna Downey kits and playing with some of the latest paper lines from Winter CHA.  Send me an email with any questions or special requests!

Scrapin' in 2010

Hello New Year. I've been thinking about resolutions this year but I can't see m to come around to any that float my boat. How about you? I've also been thinking about my word for the year. For those of you that are confused about this concept, check out Ali Edwards' blog for details. In short it's a way to refocus your life with one single word. A small way to remind yourself how you personally want to move forward. I think my word for the year is: Contentment. I know, a little off the beaten path for me, but something I think I need to work toward.

Also, a little more info about my class, it's happening at Scrapadoodle on January 30th at 10:30. It's going to be a blast, I'm looking forward to seeing all the ways you find love in your life. Make sure to call the store and reserve your spot. The class will be $35.00 and goes for 4 hours. Of course I'll give away some great prizes. I'm posting a few more pics of the album for your eyes as well.

Celebrate Love

I'm excited to announce I'll be teaching my next class at Scrapadoodle in Peoria! The title of the album is Celebrate Love. I used Crate Paper's new Valentine line called Bliss. I wanted to design something that was a complete departure from the traditional pink and red heart-fest! I wanted people to be able to identify love in their life through their friends, family, pets, or even a favorite house plant! I decided to feature the poem Normal Day on the first page to set the tone for everyday love. I'm hoping you will be interested in joining me for class, I can't wait to see what kind of pictures people bring in!
